I spent 15 years in corporate finance at Safeway’s headquarters in Pleasanton, California, managing billion-dollar budgets. That role gave me a front-row seat to how large organizations think about money, risk, and long-term planning. It also revealed a consistent theme: many of the executives I worked alongside were so focused on the company’s bottom line that they struggled to translate their own complex compensation and stock options into personal financial security. Knowing I could help them pulled me toward financial advisory work.

After Safeway, I joined a large company, where I specialized in helping clients navigate restricted stock and options platforms for corporations like Intel, Texas Instruments and Safeway. Wealth tied up in complex instruments like stock options comes with heavy tax implications and concentration risks. I found my niche in breaking down that complexity, helping people make informed choices about when to exercise, when to hold and how to diversify without leaving money on the table.

Today, my practice is built around retirement planning and portfolio management for executives and high-net-worth individuals. I understand the questions my clients face because I’ve been in those rooms, managed those budgets and worked through those same financial decisions myself.

I’ve called Colorado home for 23 years. When I’m not in the office, you’ll likely find me rooting for the Avalanche and Broncos or engaging with the art world as a member of Christie's Auction House. I hold an accounting degree from Colorado State University Pueblo which provided the technical foundation for the first career. My real education came from years of managing large-scale budgets and working directly with people to build wealth they can depend on for income and their other life goals.
