Philosophy

We are investment professionals, with over 100 years of combined investment experience, who have established an investment firm that puts the interests of the client and investment manager on the same side of the table. When asked to define our basic philosophy, the following statement best describes what we believe:

An investment portfolio is as individual as every client is. It should be designed to complement the client's particular needs and objectives, whatever they may be. Criteria for safety of principal, current income, growth of capital, and total return should be what directs and controls the management of all investment assets.
